Happenings.

We had an eventful weekend that basically consumed all our energy and time until 130am on Sunday. We actually slept in and had coffee in bed on Sunday which was absolutely amazing. E is definitely not much of sleeper or a lay-er in bed, so it was heavenly plus the massage and Mexican dinner helped. The wedding was very pretty! The bride looked gorgeous and the venue turned into a fabulous retreat for an outdoor wedding. And, I have to add we got to watch Texas beat down Ole Miss via WatchESPN on our phones. Hook 'Em!

Onto some of my loves this week!

I am loving that we shared our favorite shot on Friday. Washington Apple. Every where we go, we get this shot. Sometimes they are so tasty, but in places like St Kitts they are disgusting.

I am loving these roasted shrimp enchiladas I made last night. They were amazing and I used low fat sour cream to lessen the calories in the sauce. You can find these on my Pinterest board: jajensen

I am loving the beautiful yellow flowers E brought home last night. He really knows my how to brighten my day. Just adore him.

I am loving that I received an email today in which has me elated. 

I am loving that E's birthday is tomorrow! I am in the process of getting his gifts together. I love celebrating!

Happy Wednesday! I can't believe it's already the middle of the week...time really does fly. I was woken up this morning with, "Babe, Kelly is having her baby." Wait- what? I listened to my voicemail that we received at 12:30am last night. I have never jumped out of bed so early in such a rush in my life, haha.

I am loving that my sweet best friend and husband will be welcoming their first baby into the world today! (Let's not forget, I will get to hold a new born!)

I am loving that we are going to San Diego! E needs a little vacation away from the store and I have to go for work, so it's a win-win. 

I am loving that E will get to play a legendary golf course- Torrey Pines while we are there. Second to loving me is golf! He loves the game. :)

I am loving that the Masters is starting on Thursday. I love Tiger Woods, so I am rooting for him to win this year! He definitely is on fire so the chances are endless.

I am loving the temperature change today and we have a beautiful forecast the rest of the week. We have a dog walk event on Saturday, so we need perfect weather! All SUNNY SKIES, please.

The weather is going to be beautiful this weekend for K's crawfish boil. I cannot wait to celebrate my dear friend's 30th birthday with crawfish and her fabulous gift. 

Have you ever released "that" poison in your life that seems to make you negative or bitchy? I am in the process and when I was driving home His ray of light shining down made me feel fabulous and put a smile on my face.

Catch up.

I am back from San Diego and I loved every minute of SD. I didn't like Temecula at all, but I got over it when I visited the Fashion Mall on Friars and pulled up to my hotel off 10th Avenue in San Diego. There was one part that would have made SD visit nicer...to have E with me. He is my partner in crime when traveling and having him in a fun city with me would have made the trip ten times better, but alas I enjoyed the alone time. I am going back in a couple of weeks and am hoping to pull his hair to come with me. 

So- I am loving all things San Diego today!

I stayed at the Hotel Indigo and it was very nice, modern, clean and close to everything. Highly recommend it. I mean- They had wood floors! I was bummed they don't have bath tubs though.

 Who knew San Diego had a Little Italy? Not moi. 

 I pampered myself on Thursday evening then went and had an Italian dinner by myself. I had a salad, some basil pesto and a glass of wine. It was delish! My BFF, Kindle was by my side.

 I took a 6 mile stroll on Friday morning before my departure, so I could see the ocean. There is something about salt water...

 Great public transportation! Trolleys.

Loving on this Wednesday.

Thank goodness we are half way through the week! We have been busy little bees the past few weeks and it doesn't look like it's going to slow down one bit. Last night's Valentine's was absolutely splendid...so much so I am devoting a whole loving on this Wednesday to our feast and evening!

I am loving that I left work at 5 yesterday, got home and began cooking our feast. Starting with Fluffernutter cupcakes- DELISH!

I am loving that E got me raw oysters for an appetizer. He wanted to take care of that portion of the meal and I am so very grateful because I have been on a raw oyster kick. They were better than what you receive at a restaurant.

I am loving that I made my first Tenderloin Oscar! Delicious doesn't even cut it...amazing!

I am loving my gift I gave E. I made him a little booklet with our menu, a really sweet thoughtful note and some cute printed pages of gushy Valentine's lines.

Ah- It's Wednesday and my boss is gone. I love my boss, but I do love the uninterrupted work which I will have for a whole 10 days. Angels singing loud and clear!

I am loving that I was dying for wine, so I stopped to buy some and told the lady I didn't need a bag because I would just use my cup holder. She probably thought I was an alchi...on that note, perhaps I am? I kid. I kid.

I am loving that someone must think I am a total slob because after a company email went out I received a personal email regarding my work area. It needs to be cleaned up. Oops.

Long time, no talk?

It's been the new year for a couple of weeks and I am ready to be back in 2011 when I was laying on the beach in Barbados! Why is JAN so hectic in my home and my office? needtodropthenegativeattitude. Moving onward...Happy Hump Day!

A few things I am loving...

I am loving that I am married to an organizer. E loves to be organized, put together and everything to be picked up. He cleaned out three closets, every single drawer in the house and made me do the same. I have to say though...I am relieved to have gotten rid of 7 bags of old clothes and shoes. 

I am loving that I found a pair of Manolos that do not fit me in the back of my closet.  They have been worn um maybe twice by my Mom and then given to me. I couldn't get rid of them because they are beauties, but now I want the money. :)
Oh yea, do you want to buy them? Let me know. They are size 8 (39) And if you don't, tell your friends. They are brown with about a three inch heel and a pointy toe.

I am loving that Texas has the biggest and most beautiful sky.

I am loving that the Texans are headed to their second play off game! My parents have been season ticket holders since the very beginning, so I am pleased as punch they are getting to experience this.

I am loving we finally have Wifi at our house again. Seriously, don't know what I would do without it now that my iPad works at home.

I am loving that tomorrow is the first day of December. AMEN to a vacation, my 30th birthday, Christmas and the end of the year!

I am loving that I have finally figured out how to make my hair look good most days. Scrunch conditioner in it along with mousse and diffuse it. I typically didn't do any of those three things and am elated I asked a home-girl at Ulta what she did to make her hair so pretty!
I am loving that I have a husband that tells me I am beautiful and I that I love myself! I don't want to be like anyone. 

I am loving all my Pinterest finds this week...holy moly I wish I would have never downloaded the Pinterest app on the iPhone. 

Boob scarfs. Can I get an absolute hysterical laugh?
