Little bit of this, little bit of that.

I haven't been blogging only because I have been swamped at work the past month. I plan our company events with a great friend\coworker and we have been running around like chickens with our heads cut off. We have 2 more events then it's the end of the year, yay!

I am so excited for Thanksgiving. We are going to my parents' ranch in South Texas! Eric and I are very fortunate in that our families love and adore one another. We all spend Thanksgiving together, so Eric and I don't have to choose.

I was reading another blog I love and she had a fun filled survey blog, so I am going to copy her. Thanks Cara!

What to think.

Well, everyone voted and watched the results last night in an anxious state of mind. I couldn't watch because I knew what the outcome was going to be in this year's election. I am not sure what to think right now....sadness, hope, anxiety, empathy...and the list goes on and on. Today, I feel sorry for my parents who are going to be working to pay their taxes, for the men and women who chose to join the military to fight for our country who will be brought home in the near years, and lastly for the poor people because they will NOT be taught anything in the future and will be given anything and everything they need. My husband, my family, my friends and I work damn hard for our money and to just think it will be redistributed makes my stomach turn. I am sure there will be decent changes in the next 4 years; I am sure a lot of the promises the new President has made will not come to fruition; I am sure we should all come together and join as one and have hope in this beautiful country; However, as of today, I am lost in a nation along with millions of others. Hope? I guess that's the only word...
